I WROTE A MIDDLE-GRADE BOOK!

7/21/2023

CHASING GUANO has come a long way over the years, but it is actually the first nonfiction manuscript I ever wrote. So it feels extra great to say that it's going to be a real live book soon! I am immensely grateful to the scientists whose work is highlighted for sharing their experience and expertise, and to my critique partners and all of the publishing peeps who have championed this story along the way. Can't wait to see the design take shape in the months to come and get it into readers' hands next year!

It's official! My debut picture book, How to Eat in Space, was announced in Publishers Weekly a few days ago. I am so, so excited about how it's shaping up and can't wait to share it with the world next fall.

After many months in the query trenches, I am thrilled to have signed with Amy Tompkins at Transatlantic Agency! It feels like an incredibly bright spot in an otherwise challenging year and I'm super excited for this next chapter.  Take that, 2020!
